God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
I sold a red and white chevron quilt. I didn't get too many pics before it left. image.jpg
It looks like there is a stain on the bottom but there wasn't. I think it was a reflection of something near the quilt. image.jpg
yes i did make it ... its in a book called quilts without corners... it is just strip sets (4 with fabrics moving down one) cut with a 10 degree wedge ( think BIG dresden) it is 60 inches across. so to make your red one you would need to make two strip sets, one starting with red one starting with white. when you alternate your wedge, fat end away from you then fat end by your belly, you end up making two quilts.....understand? now the scroll work that is a WHOLE different ballgame...
