    Pre-Made Binding??

I've been asked by another teacher to sew some binding on a "blanket of roses" garland. It's Derby time here in Louisville and most schools celebrate it all week. This year they want a garland of roses for the winner. It's just some rose fabric and felt--but she wants me to sew some binding on it. I've never used pre-made--how do you attach it? Do you unfold it to sew it?

    Re: Pre-Made Binding??

Hi Lisa, You open up the 1st fold of the binding only and sew the narrower side to the front of your piece then wrap the wider section to the back. There should be some instructions in the package. I just remembered a tutorial that will explain it better than I can type it

    I hope this helps!

Wrights has online instructions on binding also.
