No quilting, I'm wilting

Got the fabric to bind one quilt, add final borders to 2 more and going to try a twister table centre but............... its just too hot to quilt and the aircon is struggling.

38 is 100f and this is the 3rd week this summer with temperatures over 40 for more than 3 days at a time - an official 'heatwave'

I think we had 33 here today in Cairns. I hope you get a cool change soon. The temps were very high down there a little while ago too weren't they?

There is a few of us willing to exchange our temps for part of yours... drink lots of fluids and stay cool.... Mama nature will get around to changing her ways soon enough!!

I can sympathize. We have too many days over 100f during our summers. My retirement home is going to be somewhere with four seasons. Instead of summer all year with a few weeks of cool.

I love Cairns.. I am in a "cool Glasgow" we had flurries of snow today...
