Can anyone identify this old Singer machine?

It's for sale and I'm interested. Don't tell DH.

I just wonder if it's worth $75 with cabinet.

Cat N Bull ( Cathryn) just got one for Christmas. I'd suck it up in a nanosecond if it were near my house. Yes, Rocketeer, you can google the name and find out a lot of information about it. Good luck with your purchase!

Looks like it's in perfect condition - was just put through a spa treatment in 2012 and then never used. It's been in a cabinet, which is included in the $75 price. Or best offer!

You're going to have to tell the hubs about it because it probably weighs a zillion pounds and he'll have to help you get it in the house! I hope you get it! Best offer? Hey, you might get a real bargain!

My Mom had a Singer identical to yours but I have no idea what model it was. She used her machine until she passed away and my sister got rid of it.

That machine is so awesome. They just don't put that level of styling into things anymore.

I will have to tell her it's worth about $300, or so they say on Ebay. I'd hate to steal it from her. But if she still offers it for $75 or BO, it's mine! I have first dibs on it.

Yes, I did already tell DH about it. He'll love it, too. It looks like the coolest machine! Can you tell I'm getting excited about it? I hope it has the manual and all the parts that go to it. I'd hate to have to hunt those things down. I'm lazy.

The one in your picture has an extra knob on the front, so it might be a different model number, but this info might be useful.

What a beautiful machine! You should name her Rosie the robot from the Jetsons. I think you will have good dreams

I think a $300 value is over-valued, but I'd sure give $75. It has a metal frame and should be solid as a rock. Good luck and keep us posted.

How can Cyndi imagine that I wouldn't appreciate a fine machine like The Rocketeer?

This is how it is meant to be used....

I would snatch that up in a N.Y. minute!
