God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Passionate sounds so much better than "nuts".

Ha! If so, I am nuts too! We can share a room at the asylum.

I'm in the same boat with you! As I am working along on my hexies and I don't have ANY of them sewn together yet, I am contemplating what my next EPP project will be! I stumbled across a tutorial for a Hexie quilt as you go that I would like to try. Also, I am intrigued by the diamond shaped EPP and think that is something else I would like to try. I guess I really enjoy the handwork of making the pieces. My Hexie project is just going to be scrappy with no duplicates and not arranged like a GFG; I think I am in love with seeing all the different fabrics that I am using!!

Could you post some pictures please? I want to do a scrappy quilt but I don't like dragging out my sewing machine all the time. I thought I might try that thing where you have a little basket of hexies to work on while you watch TV. But then I think maybe that is just a homey fantasy and could be very frustrating. I would like to know more about it.

I don't think you are nuts - if you are, so are the rest of us! I have so many quilts in my head, that I should be sewing every minute of every day! I love your hexie projects, but so far, am only tempted to do the half hexies - I don't think I could do all of the hand sewing, but maybe someday!
