Looking for a tutorial on the flex pouches

I know I have seen one before where you use a measuring tape instead of buying the flex insert (those things aren't cheap!) I must be using the wrong key words. Anyone have one they used?

The ones I have seen using the metal measuring tape are called snap bags. Don't know if there are tutorials or not though.

I was looking up snap bags, but only bags with snaps were coming up. I looked on etsy for flex frames and then it all got confusing. lol I love the Crafty Gemini, so that was a perfect tute!
