Craftsy Sale - Any one tried the "A quilt as you go patchwork bag"?
Craftsy Sale - Any one tried the "A quilt as you go patchwork bag"?
Craftsy is having a sale - all classes $19.99. Don't know if you can only get one at this price. But, I'm leaning towards this one: Quilt As You Go Patchwork Bag.

I just finished watching it last week! I liked it. She starts off with a pot holder to get you comfortable with her technique. I was actually going to make some to day to go with a matching microwave bowl holder.
After watching it you will come to realize that you don't have to use her purse pattern. I might make one a little smaller. She has a website with tutes too. One is a really cute clutch.

I have had this class on my wishlist for awhile but didn't want to pay full price. Yesterday Craftsy sent me an email offering any class 65% off so I signed up. I have only warched the tutorial on the potholder but can't wait to start.

Thanks for the positive info! I just signed up!
LOL - it's funny. They sent me another email for Twisted Irish Chain quilt for 25% off. Went through that link and it was $29.99 went through the 50% link and it was $19.99! Still past it up - I'm sure it is a good class but not anything I will be making anytime soon. Way too many things on my bucket list!

I took one of their "quilt as you go" classes. The teacher was a bit dry, and tended to spend a LOT of time discussing all the various aspects of quilting. I got to the point where I just fast forwarded through those parts. HOWEVER! Her techniques for QAYG were outstanding and I did a large quilt this way. Loved the results! Am considering doing it again for my Farmer's Wife quilt.
If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.
