Wonder who will be doing the free videos for this magazine. Poor thing! No one can fill our Jenny's shoes.

I posted about it last week. It's similar, but different. I doubt they are going to be doing any tutorials from it....

Oh yes, they are going to do videos for each project. The description says that they will be free.

Well, they explain the process very well, but the fun & charisma that Jenny has is missing..
Ill stick with Jenny's too, I enjoy them even if the quilt isn't one I want to make..

Even though I knew Fons & Porter was going to continue publishing the Quilting Quickly bookazines, when I got an eMail advertising this new one WITHOUT JENNY, my blood began to boil. They took Jenny's great ideas and decided to franchise them with or without her. It just isn't right.

I'll check out the videos, but I can't imagine them without Jenny.

I clicked on a couple of the Spring 2014 vids ... NONE OF THEM loaded for me. The rest looked like duplicates of other free patterns available on You Tube. I'm sticking with Jenny also; she's so informative and entertaining!

Maybe I am just trying to stay on a positive note but maybe Jenny needed to take something off her plate and that was it. Nothing bad about fons and porter continuing. I love Jenny and her tutes as well, but I am game to watching others. I am subscribed to over 15 sites on Youtube that have to do with quilting. They all bring something different to the table.

If it was not her choice to leave, than the loss is all theirs

The fideos are free so cant hurt to have a video to teach us a pattern or tip we want to know

I mean no disrespect to anyone. Just trying to keep my attitude positive this year.

Haven't seen the videos yet, but I think F&P is trying to capitalize on Jenny's success... It's so blatantly obvious. They are attempting to follow Jenny's formula for success, and it just won't fly..... Not for me, anyway.... Whether or not Jenny decided doing the magazine was just too much, or not, is almost beside the point..... I think she was taken advantage of by some pretty slick people.

I'm not normally a cynical person..... I always look for the best in people but this whole thing has truly aggravated me.

From what I saw there were only 4 videos available. And not the one I would have wanted to watch either. I will stick with Jenny.

I watched part of one video. Very good on instruction but totally lacking in the enthusiasm Jenny brings. She really gets you excited about the projects.

I noticed that when they did a video for their Jelly Roll Race slice thingy... It's just not Jenny. I hate to be a Jenny snob, but I guess I am. When Jenny does a tutorial, you have to pay attention and you laugh and smile, and rewind to watch again. When I was watching theirs... I could have gone for coffee and not lost my place.

I finally watched one if the videos..... The instructions are clear enough, but gee whiz,,,, there is absolutely no personality or enthusiasm going..... It looked like all the other uninspiring quilting videos... Yawn....

I'm a Jenny snob too..... Her videos are just so much fun to watch.... You can tell that she loves what she does.... Her humor and warmth win hands down... She is an inspiration.... I always want to try her designs...... They are so doable....and gun.

Shame on Fons and Porter....
