My good machine is in the shop and likely will be there another two weeks if their estimate holds up. No problem, I have my old machine.
Well, yesterday the thing that holds up the needle and has the thingy that you put your thread in right above the needle fell down! I looked, and it is a little tiny itty-bitty star shaped screw that has come loose. I had to go to the hardware store to get a screwdriver that I think will fit, and today I will attempt to fix it.
If not, I'm out of the water with sewing for awhile.
I guess I could do some quilt making. I have lots of tops, enough batting and backing, and a sewing machine on my loom that works. Couldn't do the binding though! Or, I might just take a break. I am out of the dyeing fixative, soda ash, and the white fabric, so I can't dye either!
