I am growing as a quilter, today I ventured into uncharted territory. I have never been a "red" person. I prefer the Kansas Troubles color way for myself, enjoy working with brights & primary colors for kids & babies, some pastels, red is a color I have never really bought any of. Went shopping with friends today and came cross this unbelieveable deal, a large variety of fat quarters and yard cuts from the mid-winter red collection were miscut for a kit and were offered for a super price. As I was spreading them out I found I just love them, now to decide on a pattern.

I grew into red as well. I happen to love red, though my favorite color is green. I also find Kansas Troubles to be rather pretty. I love cottage type fabrics the best though. Robyn Pandolph, 3 Sisters, French General.

I love red fabrics... mid winter reds are my favorite. Finding just the right pattern for it is the hardest part! Good luck

Red was not something I would look for either, because it does not look good on me. But having a 4th of July Grand-Daughter has certainly changed that! My sister loves the Mid-Winter Reds too!
