Daily deal--duh!

So I look at the daily deal, thinking, that is pretty, but where would I use that? Then I look around my living room and see all the same colors around me and --DUH, THE LIGHTBULB GOES ON! I'd use it here, right in my living room!

Ok, I buy it!

My walls are almost the same color as the lightest cream/ yellow in the upper right hand corner of the fabric swatches! Just about the best match of any fabrics I've seen!

that's what I was thinking.... but the last layer cake deal was an even better "living room" match for me...LOL...it was the blues and goldish,,, I forget really,,, but it's coming soon... hehehehe.. I truly love today's deal as well, be getting very good at telling myself NO...doing well planning and starting quilts from the "herd" of fabric I have sitting here already!!!!!

Yes, I hope this one doesn't just blend in with the herd here. Need to find a good layer cake pattern for it.

At first I thought you were going to use layer cakes to redo your couch. Are you just making pillows? It is pretty, maybe I should take another peek.

At first I thought you were going to use layer cakes to redo your couch. Are you just making pillows? It is pretty, maybe I should take another peek.

Now redoing a couch with layer cakes--that's a novel idea! No, I'll just make a throw for the couch.

Ahhhh, finally Jean wins out!!! Imagine, she bought a daily deal BEFORE she bought the same layer cake at regular price. Maybe she's going to start a new 2014 trend!!!!

I have had to put myself on a DD diet. I have got so many outstanding orders I can't even remember what I've bought!

Today's sure is beautiful though! Jean I will have to live vicariously through you, so PLEASE share your throw quilt you make with it!

LOL.... hey, here's an idea,,,, I would sew them in patch work and cover the back cushions to that sofa!!! OH, and I'm not kidding... I toally would, if I lived alone.... Mr. Bill here would have a stroke... he's not the "scrappy" kind like me... not that I'm rushing it,,, but I do have plans , if God forbid I am ever left alone.... I plan to make my whole main area, Living room, dining room... into a huge "sewing studio"... i'll have a nice sectional sofa for chatting with friends.. but a massive cutting table right in the center, with quilt frame in the dining area.... oh I could go on and on... He just laughs and says,,, One room is not enough??? He tells people they need a "hard hat" to enter my sewing room.... ok,,, enough bull,, off to shower, then get sewing...

It is pretty, and a def perfect match! I am patiently waiting for "Midwinter reds" to come back in stock so I can make something pretty for my LR...I could order yardage, I guess. IDK, I'm not putting forth much effort to get it, so much more to make!

I got it to make a quilt for my brother. It's hard to find fabrics that aren't too feminine. I thought this might do the trick.
