Must be THE quilt bag of the century

Tsk, tsk, you lovely quilters did not share.

Just left my LQS and look what I saw . . . .

Oh my word did I fall into quilted purse heaven or what? I love gadgets and fidgety things that you can turn inside out and use both sides, etc. The woman who helped us showed us her bag and I had multiple eyegasms. Versatile Wave Quilted Purse

    Just ordered my pattern!

Anyone here familiar with, have made this, thinking about making this lovely quilted bag?

I have made it!!! There is a picture in my pictures! After I made that, I made up a pattern of my own and did a large tote with the same ideas. Those pictures are there as well.

Isn't there a retail purse line that has these interchangeable covers? I think it is brilliant!

Yes, there's a couple that I know of.....one is Miche Bags and there a company called Thirty-One. Thirty-One has some purses that you can changed the covers of the bags, while ALL Miche start with a purse "base" and you change the outside "shells "

          Here's the websites
          Thirty-One
          http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/catalog/

          Miche Bags
          https://www.miche.com/Home

My BFF sells the Thirty-One purses. Not only does Thirty-One have purses, but they have "AWESOME" totes etc.....My BFF has been selling these for awhile. You can either do a "book" party ( by having your friends / family look at the online catalog and order that way, OR you can have a HOUSE Party as well.

So you know, the finished size of this purse is not very big. You may want to adapt it to be larger to fit your needs. I gave mine to my granddaughter...the size is perfect for a teenager!

                Hey there, Bubba.

The cool thing is, the clerk showed me her bag . . . . an actual bag she had made. Took the liner out, did a real good modeling of it. That's how the eyegasms came in to play. I LOVE THIS BAG.

Thanks for the tip about upsizing. If I make as many as I think perhaps I would do two sizes.

I am on the lookout for a way to support myself (from home) and I've been looking into magazine carriers and Bible covers. These might work too.

Keeping my eyes are ears open . . .there's GOT to be a way for a gal to make a dollar. After all, I've got these needs . . . fabric needs.

Thank you, Doloris. My librarian showed me the Simplicity pattern yesterday afternoon while writing to you all about it. Yours is lovely. ;-)
