Arrived in Florida today for a week's vacation. Staying in a friends 2nd home. NO SNOW!!!! In full relaxation mode! There will be no sewing this week. But maybe I can find a quilt shop or show....heheh....my DH will be thrilled (Not!).

Good for you! Have a wonderful vacation. I need one myself. We are planning on going to Michigan in July to see 2 sisters of mine that I haven't seen since I was 12!! I am 45 now. Can't wait!! -

OH and there is a QUILT SHOW this weekend in Lakeland!! at the civic center ~ he will love ya for it! LOL

We are headed to the beach too. Ours will be a bit different of a vacation. The Western Washington coast isn't really very sunny or warm this time of year. We like to watch the storms roll in off the ocean while snuggled up on the couch in front of the fire. We are hoping for at least one, possibly two, days of dry weather so we can hit the beach.
I am just happy to begetting away for a little while. Nothing like a change of scenery for a few days.Be who you are and say what you feel

Nancy, I love Marco Island. I remember when I was a little girl going there often. Back then it was NOT a resort. Just beach and the worst sunburn of my life. Catching sandcrabs and oh ! the starfish were everywhere. I snuck one in my stuff and brought it home. After a few days my Mom finally found the source of that horrible smell. hehehe. I wonder if she remembers that.
Rhonda, what a reunion that will be for sure! All that catching up to do!Sewing mends the soul.
