Featherweight.....

Good morning,
I am looking to get a lightweight machine to take to classes and retreats. I am currently sewing on a Bernina, and love it.....I just find it to be heavy and worry about transporting it.

I have looked at the Anniversary Janome, and with the Sewing Expo coming up next month in cleveland next month, I thought I'd do some serious looking.

Any suggestions would be welcomed!!

I would look into a Featherweight. They are great for taking to class, retreats, etc. They weigh only 11 lbs. They sew like a dream. I have even quilted a little bit on mine. Nothing fancy but ran like a champ. You can find them on Ebay.
