    My best 'quilt', to date...

    are actually pot-holders.....
I've made reference to them before, in earlier posts.
Here they are, after being washed a gazillion times, FUN, right?

I really need to get off the exclamation point.
It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

    Those are wonderful!!!
These things, I warmly wish for you-
Someone to love, some work to do,
    A bit'o sun, a bit'o cheer.
And a guardian angel always near.

Very nice. Was going to make some stuff for around Xmas time , was wondering what batting you use in pot holders
so you don'burn your hands. Is it pure cotton?? To absorb heat??

When I make pot holders or hot pads, I use insul brite. It is a material specifically for this purpose. It keeps the heat away from your hands. This material cannot be used in a microwave so keep that in mind when using it. Here is a pic. image.jpg

I really like the black and white! Am I seeing strips sewn together cut into a square and then cut on the diagonal? I don't know if I would've thought to border them as well. Adds a lot of interest. Nice!
