God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I like the look of it, but not fond of green. Would look great no matter what fabric you chose.

Thanks Anika and have a wonderful weekend.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

I wouldn't call it sea glass but I agree Monique....any other color would brighten this up. Maybe she just needs a trip to the sea to see the colors. lol. Those look more like algae on the pond.

I'm rofl but need 10 characters to post! hahahaha. Plus, we have these sea gulls here at the river that look different than at the ocean so we looked them up....they are laughing sea gulls. Maybe I should say rof llsg (rolling on the floor ,laughing like a sea gull)
