God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I love these types of quilts. The blocks are so simple to make. I have used a disappearing 9 patch a couple of times now. Thanks for sharing!

There were lots of non-matching seams in this sample quilt. Do you suppose squaring up the original 4 patch might help with that problem? I do like the way it looks.

I noticed too. I like the weave look but wouldn't tackle this one without practicing to assure seams line up. It was too noticeable.

I thought she was just showing us quickly and ot fussing about things lining up. Her seam match ups are usually so precise. It amazes me how she can not pin, sew so quickly and be that precise!
