    Enjoy !

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I like it! It would make a great baby quilt for a little boy and wouldn't take nearly as many strips.

I agree with a smaller baby sized quilt - in thirties fabrics.

I made a quilt like this a few years ago after seeing a pic of one made by Bonnie Hunter. I used cheddar yellow as the background color and over 100 different print fabrics.

            I’ll bet that’s a stunning quilt, Myrna.

Yes, I also thought it was too busy. I think I would lay it out differently. This one is not on my bucket list. All those 1.5" snowballs! No thanks.

I have a couple of quilts made by my husband's aunts/grandmother that are bow tie but the bow ties are much larger. I have some Kim Deihl or Jo Morton fabric that would be perfect to make one of my own for the next generation. It looks fun and easy.
