Quilt Sharing - pcbatiks Day 1

Hi everyone, this is my week to share some of my quilts. I'll start with one of my favorites. This one was made for my aunt. Here is the link to the original post with details of the story about this quilt and a few more pictures. And also the link about when I gave the quilt to my aunt.

That quilt is absolutely beautiful. So glad you gave us the story behind the quilt. I have a red amaryllis in my back yard & wish it bloomed year round. It's such a beautiful "showy" plant. Your aunt looked thrilled to get that perfect quilt. Thanks for starting out the week with this one.

A beautiful quilt & wonderful story. Thanks for sharing. My dad used to grow an amaryllis in a pot in the house almost every year.

The quilt is absolutely beautiful as is the story that goes with it. To me it means a whole lot more when you can design a quilt, or wall hanging, or whatever, that has a special meaning to it. It is obvious that you put a lot a time and thought into the whole thing. Thanks for sharing.
