    Help w/ identification

    I know nothing about quilting so I need some help identifying these quilts years types of I don't know any terminology here but any help would be much appreciated from everybody thanks in advance

    Hello. Those aren't quilts, which are made from fabrics. They are crochet blankets or throws made from yarns. Do they belong to you or your family? my mom had a few like them made by her good friend.

    Yep, those are afghans. By the colors, I'd say they were from the 1970's.

    Oh those are lovely. Lots of work in them. Afghans are still being made out there. Love them. hope this helped you. If not chime in again. great photos.

      The one with the orange center is a giant granny square. That pattern was hugely popular in the late 60's - early 70's. The green, yellow, and cream blocks that frame the last afghan are smaller granny squares; the body of the afghan looks like a popcorn stitch.
