    Storm at Sea

Does anyone know if Jenny has a tutorial for the Storm at Sea pattern? This has always been a favorite of mine. I've searched the tutorials and found nothing. I thought MAYBE there was one under a different name.

I don't know if Jenny does, but here is a tutorial from Quilting from the Heartland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7c-E4XaoFS0

Jenny does mostly precuts. Caroline's link is good and uses templates this one is paper pieced. I never noticed that the square is the economy block. The one where you fussy cut the middle.

I was looking at this tute more and you can get the paper templates and coloring pages for only $2.50. I think that a pretty good deal.

I took a class a few yrs. ago to learn to make this quilt. I bought the Creative Grids ruler that is designed specifically for this pattern. The instructions comes with the ruler. I haven't watched any tutorials on how to make it. This is one of my UFOs; I never got back to it.

I just did mine the old-fashioned way. 000_0012.JPG

Absolutely stunning! I have wanted to try this pattern for a few years, but am a bit intimidated.

It isn't really difficult. Just needs patience.

Wow that is a gorgeous quilt but it looks like a hard one even though you said it's not!

Its just square within squares of 2 sizes, and diamonds within squares, put together.
