To Those Of Who Are Trying To Help Those Who Are Working In The Hospitals And Need Our Help Making Masks

I realize everyone is trying to invent the WHEEL with these masks that everyone is trying to make to help those who are putting their lives on the line that work in our Hospitals/Clinics etc.
Here's some info that I have found that I think is one of the best ways to help. OF course everyone has their own ideas....but this for what it's worth is my TAKE on the COVID-19 issue and how to help our medical professionals !
I also found THIS mask YT Tutorial that makes a lot of sense as well :
This was created by a Dr's wife. The Dr. is a Emergency Room Physician. I think I am going to try making some of these as well :

(instead of pins....I have used washers instead (or anything heavy to weigh the fabric down :

Here's some more information about using the Vacuum Cleaner Bags:

Here's another Hospital's take on this.....but I honestly think the first YT Video link I Posted makes more sense :

(there's info below this video for supplies on how to make this mask

For those of you that are looking for Pipe Cleaners, I found them at Amazon.com

Some people are using Hair Ties instead of Elastic (but I suppose most of you know this already!)
    https://www.amazon.com/Black-Elastic...s%2C223&sr=8-2
(However I think that Dollar General has them a lot cheaper! )

I hope this helps some of you that want to help the hospitals/Clinics, Etc.

Thank you for this. I just don't have the time right now to make anything of any kind. Kudos to those who are helping.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

reading the comments on youtube below on the dr wifes mask, it seems by the quote from the vidoe it may be good to research the material going to use.

NOTE!!!! Hoover has responded that their HEPA bags are unsafe for making masks. Some bags are made of fiberglass particles so not safe to cut & breathe through

I was on a Kaffe Fassett collective FB group. It said not to use KF fabric as it's too loosely woven. Use batiks because of the tight weave. Thx to all who are posting info.
