    Peacock update

I have made some more work on my peacock.
I primarily use textil color to paint the bird. But today I used Derwent Ink tense color pencil behind the bird.
I am trying to make it look like the bird is sitting on the ground.
I am rather pleased with how it turned out.

    Now for the pink background.

Should I do grid work or stippling or do you have an other idea ?

It need some quilting to recede and let the bird pop.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Whoa! You've got it in hand.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Are you asking about the light yellow area around the head of the bird in the top left corner? I think I'd leave it plain, or maybe do some small stippling. That looks fantastic!
