Fabric Question

I am new to Quilting and have a question about when fabric lines come out. It looks like new fabric lines come out all of the time but is there a certain month when the new Halloween/Christmas fabrics come out for the new year.

I know there are alot of Christmas fabric sales in July.

It seems like fabric lines are out about 4-5 months before the actual time of year that they are designed for if they are seasonal.
