Labels for our quilts

I was wondering if MSQC has labels to put on your quilt. I have been told about them, but have never actually seen one, so I don't really know much about them. I would like to label my baby quilts. So.........can I get them at the store or on the internet? I think you can embroider your name and date, maybe pattern etc. Do you even know what I'm talking about?

Oh yeah. We have a few handmade tags in here, but the other options I know of are:

you can actually print a label out onto fabric

you can embroider your initials or a gift tag

or you can get a fabric pen.....

just some random ideas. Hope they help. It is always a good thing to label your quilts.

I have to include labels on quilt I'm making for a swap. But like novice I've never made one either... so... I'm wondering if you ever figured out what to do about it novice? I'm also wondering what anyone else out there likes to include on their labels. Just for ideas!

Since I am really not sure how to make a label, (because I have never seen one) I bought some that you iron on. It was not what I wanted. I think I may try to make something by incorporating the iron on on to a piece of fabric with the info I want. I still haven't decided whether to embroider info or get a fabric pen. Anybody else got any good ideas on this subject?
