how does all of this work?

I'm brand new on here, can someone tell me how this works? I don't see where to type in and follow along?

If you are reading a thread /post and wish to give a reply then look at the bottom left under the posts, you will see a box that says "reply to thread", click this and it will open a text box to write in. On the bottom right of this area there is a button saying 'preview post' which allows you to see how it will look when posted and a "submit reply" which will then post your reply to the board for others to see.
