Do you ever see a quilts that make you jealous that you didn't think of it first? I just spotted this on etsy and love it so much... maybe I can make it a graduation present to myself,
I like the ones that look like entire bookcases with other stuff on the shelves with the books. Sorry I don't have one to post - just have seen them here and there while checking out peoples blogs at random.
That's a nice quilt you posted. I could see one of those on my walls.

That's pretty amazing, I looked at it many times trying to figure out if it was pieced or pre-printed. I still can't tell I'm assuming its pieced from the way your talking and oh wow it get's your brain moving on how to do it huh! Has to be paper piecing of a sort, don't you think In any case you're right. It makes you drool.
How big is the original quilt? Do you know?
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.
Just recently, I discovered that one of my works ("Remembrance") was mentioned here, so I thought I should stop by, introduce myself, and say "thanks" for your kind comments. This was a very challenging quilt to do, in large part because I wanted this to look very realistic--almost as if you could reach out a pull one of the books off the shelf.
You're a very talented artist. I'm still trying to convince my family to club together and buy me it for a graduation present. Fingers crossed somebody doesn't snap it up before next June.
