The quilt top is done.. I'm pretty happy with it. The backing fabric I got doesn't quite match, but it's all I got so it's going to have to work. Anyways, I used Printed Treasures fabric sheets for the photos... hope you like it!
As a fullblown cat lover, I naturally loved this. Great job! Your pictures turned out so clear. I don't think my printer is very good. I just cannot get pictures to print on fabric nice and crisply. But Congrats!
Your cat quilt turned out really pretty! I actually have had a cat quilt on my Ufo list for a few years. I plan to do it this summer. I'm taking all the cats I've had and DH's dog and putting the photos on a wall hanging. I'll have to post it when I get it completed. I have to use my dad's printer as I don't have a color one.
Thank you all! I changed my mind on the backing fabric. I'm going to return what I ordered and I bought new today so as soon as I am done with this rummage this weekend, I plan to start quilting. I have an HP Photosmart printer. It was about $400 about 5 years ago when I bought. I actually did use photo ink even though it said not to because I don't have any black ink. I originally bought the printer because I was really into scrapbooking. I'm really impressed with how the photos turned out. When I do my memorial quilt, I will be using the same items since it worked so well this time!
