    Jewel Box Quilt for Son

This is the jewel box quilt I made for my son. Because of problems with my previous machine, I worked on it 7 months to finish it and another quilt I will post soon. This is why I traded that machine in on my new BabyLock. Once I got my new machine, progress really sped up. Anyway, a few years ago I made quilts for all 5 sons and my oldest comments that he got the plain quilt so I made him one that is not plain. He loved it and he especially loved the binding I put on it. No border because when I was done, I was done and counted my blessings.

It's a beauty! I love batiks with black, it makes the colors pop!
