    purple, purple, purple

purple.jpgpurpleback.jpgManaged to get this purple, purple purple quilt finished today even through all the sadness . I used almost all of the purple in my stash (probably have enough to make another really scrappy one...ha ha) Have a lot of left over scraps to add to my strip stash that I keep trying to use up but it grows exponentially everytime I make a new quilt. Amazing isn't it?
This one is 79x87...kind of an odd dimention. I had a hard time coming up with enough to make bindings and borders but...alas, I think it worked out.

I really like your outer borders, very clever.

It's actually kind of appropriate that you finished your very-purple quilt today, of all days. In many religions, purple is the color used to symbolize mourning.

I love purple & lavender. Love your quilt. That turned out great. I agree with the comment about how your quilting has progressed over the years. Keep up the good work.

Love your purple quilt! Honestly don't you ever sleep?!! The amount of quilts you turn out makes me think you sew 24/7 and they all turn out fabulous. I think it's safe to say you are addicted!! But I mean that in a good way.

Terry, your purple purple purple quilt is prettier and softer than the one I made. I had to show this one...I made it at a retreat for a dear friend of mine who lives in Arkansas. She LOVES purple. It's a Kaleidoscope Quilt made from a kit from Avalon Bloom
