    Hello, Sailor!

I fell in love with this fabric by Alexander Henry because it reminds me of my retired Coast Guard hubby. His beard is white now but he was a ginger when he was in uniform. And he has blue eyes. Swoon.....
This is a pattern by Blue Calla Patterns but I took a lot of liberties and changed a few things. It's a big bag but will be perfect to take on our trips.

    Love your bag!

Love how much you adore your husband!

    Especially love your bag-holding assistant!
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

Very unique. I am sure you will get lots of inquiries about where did you find it. Love the story that goes with it.

You did a fabulous job on fussy cutting and pulling this bag together.

I'm certain it will turn heads. Be prepared to take orders along your travels.

Thank you! This is now my favorite bag. It's really too large for me to carry everyday but I wanted to show the print in full. Blue Calla Patterns are my favorite (other than my own designs&#128522 and easy to follow and make. I love working with cork, too.
