    Colorwash360 - Mixed Feelings

I took a class with Wanda Hanson of Exuberant Color, learning how to make Colorwash quilts. Here is my finished quilt. I have named her Mixed Feelings and she measures about 36" by 38".

I hope the name doesn't mean that YOU have mixed feelings, because that is one beautiful quilt!!!

        It's beautiful.

I'd probably never finish shifting squares around to sew it together. I'm sure the class was fascinating.

Great job blending colors. I bet this is much harder to do than it looks. What size are your squares, and is this something that you would do again? Your work is always so wonderful.

She's really beautiful Preeti. What a wonderful exercise in color that I'm sure will serve you well with every quilt you make in the future. Love your blog BTW, it's so well written. I've followed you from the beginning and it's been fun watching you progress in your quilting journey.

That is just stunning! I tried something like this a couple of years ago. It is still a UFO! I love yours, but I love rainbow colored quilts! It is tricky to get the wash just right while playing with fabric values! You did a great job on that!

I browsed your blog. It's been a while since I visited. Love the Mixed Feelings. Not sure I'd have the patience to work on all that placement of the colors. The tree quilt posted before that one is cute. Very whimsical.
