    Christmas tree quilt

IMG_1995.jpg Well, this is my tree done for Christmas. FMQ with stars and swirls on my domestic Janome 8200 and backed with brushed cotton to be cosy when used as a lap quilt. Regards, Maureen x

That is really cool. Is it a bargello?

Your tree is gorgeous. Environmentally friendly. I like that.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Beautiful, as all your quilts are. Very unique with the bargello incorporated.

Thankyou yes, it's a type of Bargello. Not done in the usual way of making tubes and unpicking the next row. Just a lot of concentration following the diagram.

Very pretty and very original! Congratulations you finished that way ahead of schedule. I thought Christmas quilts usually got finished around Dec. 24th about 11:30 pm, lol!
