    A Retreat Finish

I started this quilt in November at a quilt retreat (my first retreat and definitely not my last).
I was so naive that I actually brought five (5) projects to the 6-day retreat thinking that I would actually finish any of them! LOL

I started and worked on two projects and this is one of the projects that I worked on. It is a pattern from Quiltmaker Magazine. (One of my 2017 New Year's resolutions was to actually make a quilt from one of the gabillion quilting magazines sitting on my bookshelf.)

Anyway, this was a fun quilt to make. As soon as I figure out a backing fabric, I'll quilt it on my domestic machine.

      Awesome! Was it paper pieced?

Yes, it was paper pieced, so it was pretty much a no-brainer piecing it.

Beautiful! Love your colors. Don't believe for a second it was a "no brainer", looks like it took lots of brains to put together

You did a great job. I always bring several projects with me just in case. One of the retreats I attended, I had several projects but NONE of them were turning out right. I always have the pieces cut before I go so all I have to do is sew. I have accomplished more that way.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
