    Your wallhanging looks great. The butterflies give it a complete look. I never thought about making a dresden quilt, but after seeing yours I think I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

    might look really nice to balance the "weight' of the flowers in the other corner...instead of appliqueing, how about finding an old buttefly pin or other pin that can work with an applique to give a 3D effect...I agree about auditioning before you stitch whatever you decided to put there.
