    You made that!? So cute and so is she! I noticed her glasses. I had to wear them around that age too.

      That is adorable as is your granddaughter! Nice job! I started wearing glasses in the 5th grade but gave them up for vanity in high school. Now I can't live without them.

          She's starting the year off right, thanks to grandma!

          I was wearing glasses then too.

          Public schools in San Antonio start on the 28th of August this year with a few private schools starting a week earlier.

            Doloris, that backpack is sew cute. I have a granddaughter, 10, who has been a leopard print girl from early on....just learned to walk, and she still has her little cuddle blanket in leopard print! That backpack looks hard to make..was it??? Ashlyn would love it!!! Your little granddaughter is adorable..and looks mighty proud of her backpack!!!

                          the pattern I used is Adventure Time Backpack by Andrie Design. It is not very hard, but I would recommend a knowledge of bag construction. I have made 7 of these now. It is one of my favorite patterns
