    A Patch for Santa's Bag

Hi! I started to talk about this in my introduction thread, but that was weeks ago now, and I don't want to necro-post. (My DH is Santa, and you can only imagine what the end of the year is like around here.)

However, I did promise that I'd show it when it was finished. So here it is!

    Santa-Bag.jpg

I've been sewing for many years, but this is my second pieced piece, and my first free motion quilting. I don't know how well you can see it, but all the quilting, applique stitching, and thread work is free motion.

This piece went on one of Santa's canvas bags, to hide the screen printed store logo that was there. He took it hot off the sewing machine, and wouldn't let me have it back until after Christmas!

The block is my own design, the tree is Sizzix Album Christmas Tree. Is there anything else I'm supposed to say about it?

Beautiful, and yes I can see your free motion quilting. It's very good. I'm still struggling with FM. So far it's winning : )

This is great! Your piecing is fantastic and so is your FMQ. Pat yourself on the back, because you deserve it!

                  Robin, this is just gorgeous.
I can see why 'Santa' didn't want to give it back
