Binding Tool Star

I am so please with how the borders turned out on this quilt. It was just a little smaller than I wanted so I designed the last border The center blocks are 16 inches and the ones in the border are 8 inches. Had to do a little bit of that dreaded math. LOL

I started this at a MSQC retreat in March and just finished it. Now trying to decide how to have it quilted. Edge to Edge vs Custom Quilting. Leaning to the Custom Quilting.

This was also the first quilt that I did that was all batiks.

PS the corner block error has been corrected. Oops

beautiful quilt, love the borders...my 2cents; like the idea of the custom quilting if you know someone good, if it is risky (unknown long arm quilter) then edge to edge maybe? Whatever you decide I am sure it will be wonderful.

Edit: By unknown quilter I mean someone whose work you can't see before hiring

I really like this pattern. It's so quick and easy. I've made two of them and plan to make another at some point in the near future. Your's is very pretty.

Your quilt is beautiful. I didn't notice the corner block at first, ha ha. The Amish always make on obvious error in a quilt top, as they say only God is perfect. LOL
