Finally my new robe is done

Being sick and having tons of plans for a weekend just do not go together. It was hubbys B'day Saturday. I went home from work early Friday and have not been back since. both sons came down with it Saturday as well as hubby. I did manage and don't ask me how since I don't remember much to do the following.
    1. Cut out and sew hubby PJ bottoms for his birthday (just in time to spend time sick in bed with them)
    2. go food shopping Saturday morning (not knowing I wouldn't cook for the next 4 days
    3. Make not 1 but 2 pumpkin pies for hubbys Birthday (4 of us can polish of 2 pies in 2 days it took 5)
    4. Do dishes Friday night
    5. Cut my robe out and finally get it sewed (should have been done Saturday, but done now)
    6. Go to the store for meds so we can all get well
    7. Do a loud of laundry and a load of towels
8 . Change the sheets on our bed after we both showered yesterday first time in 5 days
    9. made supper last night as we finally felt somewhat like eating.

Of course I had 3 adorable helpers, here are 2 of them watching me cut the pattern out, and the finished robe. The cuffs, yoke and pocket I quilted. Thanks for looking

Hope you are feeling better! That robe is cute.
You sure kept yourself busy while under the weather-I bet the guys just sat and whined about how terrible they felt.

Procrastinate. It frees up time to quilt!

Beth my hubby is THEE whiner, but thankfully the kids just holed up in their rooms and I barely heard from them except they would ask how I was feeling on the way to the bathroom.

Hope everyone is feeling better. You managed to get a lot accomplished for being under the weather. Cute robe - bet the kitties are just waiting for you to wear it so they can snuggle on your lap. It looks very cozy!

Glad you are beginning to be on the mend. I will debate with who the bigger WHINER is, my DH or yours. Your paw print robe is really cute. Bet your 3 little fur babies gave you lots of comfort and solace, while you were really ill. Prayers for quick recovery for all in your house. Kathy

Well, that gives me 'paws' as to what I've accomplished lately.

I love the robe. It looks so comfortable. I'm a little jealous that you do such beautiful work. I'm wearing a robe that is 28 years old, but its warm. I just never was very good at garment sewing. I am glad you are recovering and getting back to normal. God bless you
