    It's not much but....

    I have not done a lot of sewing of late, but got into the sewing room last night and made this for my Great Niece who is 18 months old. She absolutely loves her 'babies' (dolls) and is always wrapping them up in anything she can find to put them to sleep.
    I thought I would have a go a making a doll cradle. I am happy with the results, but may alter a few things if I make any more.
    I also have a Quartered Squares quilt in nice bright colours up on the design wall. Just need to sew all the rows together.
    The Aus Open Tennis is on at the moment, so that is always a good time for me to get into the sewing room with the television on and catch up on the tennis.

      What a great idea. And that tiny pillow for the doll is a nice addition - plus a quilt - I'm sure it will be put to good use.

                        There you are!!! A few alterations and that would make a perfect basket for gathering kangaroo eggs! Missing you!!

                          Her eyes will light up when she sees this.... Imagine the thrill when she see's her own special purple basket and blanket for her special babies!!!
