    UFO's completed

I 'm back from my retreat and I did manage to complete some UFO's that have been on my cutting table for longer than I'd like to admit.

I finished an embroidered table runner I started last year and a Christmas table runner. I also completed two small hangings for my little metal quilt stand ( well just have to sew the buttons for eyes on the snowman, I forgot to bring them with me) and I worked some more on the "dreaded" orange peel quilt that I have definetly been procrastinating on for quite a while. I will get it finished as I plan on gifting it to my son and daughter-in-law for their new couch.

I also had some fun time with the gals at the retreat and went to dinner one night at the Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing. There is a big winter ice festival up there this coming weekend. This is me in the lobby of the hotel with one of my new friends!

    Thanks for looking!

Those are some really outstanding pieces. You should be so proud. Your home must be so well decorated.

Everything is wonderful. I'm proud of your finish of the Orange Peel. That pattern is not for sissies! Love, love your runner and your small quilts, too. You're a super fine quilter.

It's wonderful to get away for retreat but it's so nice coming back home. Glad you had a special time. Love your new friend!

It's not that it is a difficult pattern but it is tedious process sewing the footballs together, turning them right side out, then ironing them onto the background fabric, and stitching them down before you even assemble the quilt.

While I love your quilting projects, I am impressed by your date for the night!
