    Quilt retreat last weekend

My guild had a quilt retreat at the church where we hold our meetings. No staying overnight, but I got a lot done on a Friday. Not so much on Saturday.

On Friday, I got the borders on 2 quilts - one for my uncle and my Cathedral Stars.

The one for my uncle is Eleanor Burns day and night

The other one is a Bonnie Hunter free pattern Cathedral Stars - started at a workshop with Bonnie in September of 2014. It has been waiting on the borders since last years' winter retreat where it was assembled. Hoping to get it quilted in time to be in our quilt show at the end of March.

On Saturday, I did a rope bowl and lots of chatting. 😀

You did a fantastic job on both of them. Bright and cheerful

              Thanks all!

Would love suggestions on how to quilt either of them - I can't figure out what I want to do!

Lisa, they're both great. I especially like the night and day one. Very striking. Hopefully there will be some good quilting suggestions for you: that part of the process is still not my specialty. Be sure to post pics when you are finished.
