Fair Isle Quilt

Ta-Da....it is finished, well the top is now waiting for the backing to arrive.

Back in Nov. DH surprised me while we were running errands, he thought I needed to make a new quilt for our couch (much easier to wash dirty dog paw prints off a quilt than a couch). As we were discussing it he pulled into the LQS and HE picked out the pattern and asked the ladies there to help him choose the fabrics. This is what they came up with, not a bad choice. Not sure how I will quilt it yet, right now I am thinking perhaps a crosshatch pattern.

I think I'd rather knit this design than piece it. Your quilt looks great.

I love the colors, your hubby did good. I love the pattern, I wish I had it in me to piece a quilt that intricate. I love it.
