    First one finished for 2017

Started this Dresden Plate in January of last year. I'm happy to finally have taken it out of my UFO closet, and finished it. This one is all MINE!

A few days ago, I asked for opinions as to whether or not I should quilt over the plates, and even those who suggest that I do had very good reasons for me doing so, I decided to not do it, and from the way it turned out, I'm glad I didn't. I may end up regretting that decision after a dozen washes, but for now, I'm happy!

That is so very pretty! Worth the wait to finish, and I don't blame you for keeping it -I would too!,

The quilt looks lovely, I was given a Dresden plate at Christmas and can't wait to try it out. You have given me an idea for the colour choice.
