    Annette...

I finally made a bag again after being busy sewing my little army of gnomes. This is Annette by Swoon, handbag size. I'm still negotiating with myself if she needs topstitching around the top, I'm scared to ruin her. The pattern doesn't call for it but I don't quite like the bulkiness at the top. She also still needs a shoulder strap but I was excited to show her off.

Thanks for looking, I hope you like her as much as I do!

Beautiful! I agree that it needs stitching to keep the lining rolled inside. If you stitch really close to the top edge it won't take away from the design.

          Great job!

Page 11 - starting at a V edge, stitch along the entire top edge of the bag.

When I make it to Germany, you should make sure this purse is well hidden because it might come home with me!

You did a great job on it! I love this purse it is the last one I made myself and I did top stitch around the top, but added no shoulder strap.

Thanks, Karen! This sentence maybe written in disappearing ink in my pattern which worked perfectly as I searched for it. Or it simply hid from my sight to make fun at me.
