Well, I worked for two days and got the Origins quilt FMQ'd and bound. It is 85x95. Origins by benartex . The new machine is fast and I need to get a little better at control but it came out alright. I've gotten some practice, got the tables set up so the drag isn't so bad and I used a fancy stitch on the binding that made it kind of fun. Another thing I was practicing on.origins.jpgorigins1.jpg

Re: Origins quilt finished for Shriners
I only have 3 days to sew, clean my house, and run errands...so I try to make the most of that time off. I really don't like the time I spend away from home. I feel it is such wasted hours, but then...there is the money...So I keep going to work. The restaurant is so slow and 14 hours a day there is drudgery even though I really like our regulars. I'm really considering taking my older Husqvarna there and piecing but it is pretty messy and DH really hateshaving thread all over the restaurant, so I try to refrain from my obsession.Originally posted by amartin24 View PostWow Terry, I'm impressed at how fast you crank out these lovely quilts!Walk in peace with the Lord by your side.
