That's turning out beautiful. Do you get nightmares sewing with skull fabric? I think those skull faces leering at me, not to mention the leftover fabric lurking on the shelf in my sewing room closet, would creep me out!

That's turning out beautiful. Do you get nightmares sewing with skull fabric? I think those skull faces leering at me, not to mention the leftover fabric lurking on the shelf in my sewing room closet, would creep me out!

No, the fabric does not give me nightmares. However, quite often I am awake half the night as I lie in bed thinking up purse designs. I should start putting them to paper!

This purse is going to be for the gal who was Tyler's daycare provider from the time he was four years old. All of my grandkids have gone to her and Tyler's brother still does for before/after care during school. A year ago, the special ed bus driver saw some of the things Robin has bought. Well, this bus driver ordered about $400 worth of things, so I told Robin I would make her any purse she wanted. Her only stipulation was that it did not have red. Yes, I know this has red, but believe it or not, she chose the fabric! Her and her husband are in a m/c group and she loves it (my friend told me today it's very Ed Hardy). The lining is black with white pin dots and the zipper in the lining will be red, just because I like the way it looks!

Maybe I'll get it done in the next couple hours now that I'm home to sew!

I love it....but I know nothing about bag making, so I have no clue what it is going to be. I would like to try, but I don't think my hands could do it.

It's still not done. I failed to finish it yesterday, and slept like crap last night, probably because we were seeing the oncologist today. After that appointment, we went and bought a new washing machine and then the grocery store. As soon as I got thru the door, I went to bed and slept till 1630!!

Maybe tomorrow.....
