Wool applique pillow

I was so happy with how this pillow turned out as a Christmas gift for my brother. He and my sister-in-law have a beautiful country/primitives style house. My brother loves his gray cat and he is a beekeeper. I merged a few of Bonnie Sullivan's Tuxedo Tales patterns to create this design. I loved working with the wool applique that I hand blanket-stitched around each piece. I hand embroidered the bees.
