    My first Christmas Stocking

    Hi everyone,
After watching Jenny's tutorial on this stocking I said I could do that. Everything went just fine but realized she didn't include the loop for hanging and I didn't think of it. So tomorrow I will do some ripping to attach, no big deal. Got to have a loop!! My daughter will receive (2) of these next week. Next is the tree skirt. My confidence is growing.
Question: Looking down to the inside and the back, the fabric is the wrong side. That's the way Jenny did it but I would think it'd look better if it showed the right side. Oh well.

Very nice! Love the colors. These are on my to-do list but I guess they'll move to next year's list - I'm running out of time for this year!

Very nice!! I saw some stockings where the loop was sew on the outside with a button on it. I think that would be cute on yours.

Cute. I like Lorie idea of attaching the loop with a button.

A tree skirt is my to-do list for 2017 perhaps.

                    Love the colours.

I've spent so much time on decs for my DD and DGS that apart from a quick table runner I have run out of time to do my own sewing. Oh well, there's always next year. Still it did give me pleasure seeing their faces when I gifted them!!!
