    Zig Zag table runner & topper

    I made these from one charm pack this week while waiting for my quilting friends to finish their quilts. We are making Hunter's star quilts. So this zig zag was a nice break.

            This is one of my favorite patterns, and it gets made in a jiffy. I really, really like the charm pack you used. I have that line in a layer cake. A few of the squares have been put aside to be included in a set of place mats, but I think I now know what I am going to do with the rest - cut them up and make this table runner. I'll make at least one to go with the place mats (a gift for a friend) and I'll make the other for .... ME!

                I actually did this with the exact same charm pack! It's so bright and cheery and perfect for Fall! I also made matching placemats. I really like the set. Someone on here made them for a craft fair, and they sold for a good price. That inspired me! So does this! Nice job!

                  LOL I think I got this charm pack a few years ago as a Daily Deal. It sat in my stash because I had no idea what to do with it. Now I know what to make of those single charm packs that I buy from the Daily Deal. The pattern is so simple and fast but still cute. I'm going to sell them at the church craft sale in December. Hopefully others will like them too.
